  • Do I need a reservation?

    Walk-ins are welcome when space allows, but we highly recommend reservations (especially on weekends) to guarantee your spot.

    Why is there an entry fee to visit the cats?

    Your lounge fee directly supports the care of our cats — from food and care to staffing and creating a safe, enriching environment.

    What should I expect during my visit?

    Expect cozy vibes, whiskered welcomes, and plenty of purrs! You’ll have time to relax, sip on your favorite beverage, and enjoy the company of our cats at your own pace.

    What if I have allergies?

    While we keep the space as clean as possible, cat allergens are unavoidable. Guests with sensitivities may prefer enjoying the cafe only, or spending time in our viewing area with its own HVAC system to observe the cats without direct contact.

    Can I bring my own cat?

    No. Our space is dedicated exclusively to our rescue cats who are seeking adoption. Please leave your own pets safe at home.

    Can I host a private event or party at Purrrlandia?

    Yes! We offer private event bookings for birthdays, corporate gatherings, and special occasions. Contact us to explore celebration packages.

  • Where do the cats come from?

    All our cats are rescues, ready for adoption. We partner with Best Friends Animal Society and other rescue networks to provide temporary care until each cat finds a forever home.

    How do you ensure the cats' well-being?

    Cat welfare is our top priority. Residents receive regular veterinary care, enrichment, and a cat-first lounge design. We also set clear guest guidelines to keep interactions positive and stress-free.

    Can I adopt a cat from Purrrlandia?

    Yes! Every cat in the lounge is adoptable. If you fall in love (and chances are you will), our team can guide you through the adoption process on site, often the same day.

    How are cats selected for Purrrlandia?

    Our rescue partners choose cats who are social, adaptable, and comfortable in a lounge setting. All are health-checked and vaccinated before arriving.

    Can I bring in a stray or kitten I found?

    We aren’t able to accept strays directly. Please reach out to your local shelter or rescue organization for assistance.

  • Do you serve food and drinks?

    Yes! Our cafe offers coffees, teas, specialty drinks, craft sodas, grab-and-go items, and light snacks — the purrfect pairing with your cat lounge visit.

    Do you offer vegan or gluten-free options?

    Yes. We offer vegan and gluten-free items, including our popular Ring Donuts. Please let us know your dietary needs when you order.

    Will cats come in contact with food prep areas?

    No. Our food and beverage prep area is completely separate from the cat lounge, with secure entries and distinct HVAC systems to ensure health and safety.

  • Do you sell merchandise online and in-store?

    Yes! We have two ways to shop:

    • In-Store Boutique: Features exclusive Purrrlandia collections, gifts, and cat-themed goodies you won’t find anywhere else. Perfect for picking up something special during your visit.

    • Online Shop: Offers our print-on-demand merchandise — with a wide variety of styles and sizes, made to order and shipped directly to your door.

    What are the shipping costs and times for online orders?

    • US shipping rates: $5.95 flat rate standard shipping and free shipping on orders $65+.

    • International shipping rates: $14.95 flat rate standard shipping and free shipping on orders $150+.

    • Processing Times: Orders are typically processed within 2-5 business days.

    • Shipping Times: Once processed, standard shipping times range from 3-8 business days for domestic shipments and 10-20 business days for international shipments.

    Are there duties/taxes for international orders?

    Import duties and taxes vary by country and are the responsibility of the customer.

    What are your sustainability practices?

    We use eco-friendly packaging, partner with carbon-neutral shippers, and source sustainable, ethically produced merchandise.

    What’s your return policy?

    • In-store purchases: Returns/exchanges accepted within 15 days for unworn, unused items with tags.

    • Online (POD) purchases: Replacements are available for damaged or defective items only. We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, sizing, or used items. Contact us within 15 days for replacements or lost packages.

    How do I initiate a return for an online order?

    To initiate a replacement, please submit a Replacement Request Form with your order details and the reason for your replacement request. Once your request is approved, we will provide you with instructions and a return shipping label, if applicable. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
